Weymann 5-string banjo Circa 1900’s

This lovely banjo was made in Philadelphia around the turn of the century.  It is one of only a very few Weymann's that have been found with the elaborate double-vine inlay on the neck and nice wood marquetry on the inside of the rim.  Note how similar this banjo is to high-grade Stewart banjos from the same period.
