S.S. Stewart “Acme Professional-University Glee” 5-string banjo, Circa 1900
This second version of this fanciest of Sears' catalog banjos is similar to the other in my collection, but with a different vine inlay pattern. This one uses copper wire as the vine with pearl flowers and leaves, and the result is quite striking.
