Eastman E8D 6-string guitar, S/N 10935445, Circa 2014
This very nice guitar is a modern recreation of a pre-war Martin D-28, with a sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, herringbone binding on the top, snowflake fingerboard inlays, and scalloped X-bracing. It is the only Eastman I have seen with a pearl Eastman logo inlaid on the peghead. It plays and sounds just great.
