S.S. Stewart "Champion" No. 2, 5-string banjo, S/N 16323, Circa 1895

This is a much simpler banjo than my Champion No. 3 banjo made about the same time, but it is nicely appointed with pearl inlays and a lightly carved heel.  The "Elite" tailpiece may be original since they were an option to Stewart's "Common Sense" tailpiece at the time.
