Washburn mandolin SN 59004, Circa 1897, model no.175

The Washburn instruments were Lyon & Healy's highest grade during the period 1890-1920.  This beautiful mandolin was next to the top-of-the-line in 1897, and features an engraved pearl fingerboard, pearl bound top and soundhole, pearl tuning pegs, and simply beautiful workmanship throughout.  It is in nearly mint condition.
