Eastman "Whyte Laydie" 5-string banjo, S/N 23001, Circa 2011

My friend John Bernunzio worked for over three years with Eastman Strings of Beijing, China, to produce a faithful replica of an early Fairbanks "Whyte Laydie" No. 2 banjo. The attention to detail in these banjos is just incredible, and they play and sound as good as any banjo from any era.  This is the lowest serial number in the first production run of these banjos.
